So today is day 3 in the hospital, but in bone marrow transplant lingo it's really day minus 2. It counts back from the 1st day of chemo then starts at 0 on the day of the transplant. Today has been a pretty good day, Ava is still eating some and in good spirits. We have been told that side effects from chemo may be a little delayed but could start any day now. We are waiting and watching for these side effects and are happy when the day passes with none. Drew was on duty last night and had a sleepless night, tonight is my turn :)
