For anyone who wants to check in on Ava, we thought this would be an easy way to tell her story...

Even though my day started with a 2 hr backup on 83, It was an awesome day with Ava!  She looks the best yet and was super busy today!  During the past couple weeks I had forgotten how much entertainment she needs. She has been so tired and quiet lately and today she was a bundle of energy.  I literally had to sit on the bed all day to make sure she wouldn't roll off. Every second she got she was rolling, lunging, rocking, and starting to really crawl.  Every second her lines were beeping and tangled...she just wouldn't sit still.
They started with her oral medicine today, her cyclosporine. This is her anti-rejection medicine that she gets and will be sent home on. They now give half of the dose IV and half by mouth. They are also weaning her off her pain medication. Pretty soon she will only be hooked up to her nutrition at night and will be free of all her tubing during the day! And last but not least, her numbers today were even higher :)  Her WBC count was 8660, her ANC was 7274, and today for the first time ever, her platelets went up on their own...to 33,000!!
Yay Ava!!
