Just a quick note to say that we do get the apartment next door! yay! We are really excited that it worked out. It may be 2 weeks or so before we can get in, but thats ok. I want to thank everyone who messaged me and showed concern about helping us find a place, it all happened so fast, I had no idea it was going to work out like this. Just knowing that people took the time to try and help means so much...thank you.
We just got word tonight that Ava will be admitted next Wed (5th) and will get her campath treatment on Wed, Thurs, and maybe Fri. She will then be sent home (to the apartment) and then will have the lymphocyte transfusion at the end of October. I am to bring Audrey in next week for them to take a look at her veins to determine exactly how they plan on getting her blood, asleep or awake. Of course I would rather awake just because I hate the idea of anesthesia, but asleep may be the better choice if they actually want to get the blood out of her.
Tonight for Rosh Hashanah, my wonderful neighbors/friends had Audrey and I over for dinner...it was very yummy and very sweet of them to include us, thank you Lara and Brian! And thank you to my dear friend Julee who had Audrey all afternoon until I got home, and will also have her all afternoon tomorrow...you are the best.
Going to sleep now. Can't wait to see little Ava Janey Jane in the morning and tell her the great news about the apartment!! Her own room!! She will be so excited :)
