We have officially made it 1 week living at Johns Hopkins! Drew and I have got our little routine down, our room all organized, and we are already bff's with Ava's nurses. Our room has everything we need, we even had a mini fridge brought in last night! The nurses take care of Ava in the middle of the night and they bring me my coffee in the morning...we are all set!
Today was another good day. Drew left the hospital when I arrived for my shift. Ava was so sweet today, full of smiles, and still eating some for me (even though she is hooked up to IV nutrition). We had a picnic on the bed, I gave her a sponge bath, and we watched baby einstein. The thing bothering her the most right now is her little teeth coming in. Poor thing has 2 teeth popping through as all this is going on...horrible timing.
