It was another quiet night last night, pretty uneventful. Today was a different story though.  Ava is now feeling crummy. She started the day with her usual Ava smile, then had some nausea and even threw up a couple of times. She had nothing at all to eat or drink since yesterday...I think she's done with food for now. Her platelets did end up dropping to 5,000 so she had to have a transfusion. She slept most of the day and was lethargic and quiet. I also noticed her hair is changing some, its getting more brittle. Kinda depressing day even though the doctors are happy with her progress so far. She's not in pain or anything, just an overall "blah" feeling. Drew is with her tonight, he said she got sick with him also :(
On another note, Drew treated the whole nursing staff to a yummy sushi lunch today...Im hoping that gets Ava some extra special attention tonight!! :)
